Funny. Getting home by 11 seems early to me. Sad. It's drizzle, drizzle, drizzling out, and the snails are slurping around the driveway to greet me. I always look at their antlers.
Tonight's question is? What's the deal with all the boutique ice cream shops popping up? Dude. It's like a bit of a rash. Lower Haight, Valencia St., Outer Mission. Popping up like wabbits. At least they are using Straus products. And, I was off base. I had predicted that the macaroon was the new cupcake. No way. Ice cream is the new cupcake. I'm still convinced that the proper order is: Naia, froyo, and then ice cream.
I'm also enamored with my HMO right now. Three appointments, and three co-payments later, I finally was able to snag an appointment with the guyee I need to see. Three weeks from now mind you. I told the woman dealing with my paperwork that I was thankful that I wasn't dying. She shrugged. To counter balance this, I ended up taking four hard back books, one magazine, and one baby pencil to compensate. Why thank you Kaiser. Also, I had a slight epiphany when I was flushing the toliet in the radiology department... Perhaps the strangeness of the dual toliets at Alembic were for right-handed or left-handed flushers...? Man. If I could only harness this power for something productive!
And interestingly. I noticed that the bathroom at Papalote is somewhat hallway like, just like the little shamrock. But this one had 13 times more grafitti. Maybe that goes with the salsa avalanche.
I also noticed that the bathroom that I most frequently use at work has now become BYOS. Soap. Weird. Especially when it doesn't seem necessary.
Last week the berfday Elfords were in search of sake. So I picked Fly Bar. There are two locations, so I picked the one closest to BART, and of course, the one that doesn't have sake. Somehow I can be a champion of these types of flubs. The bathroom there was quite red, and I thought it was stinky, so I scooted out of there faster than normal. Then I realized that the door I went into had the big "M" on it. No wonder!
And I got a little worried, because for one hot second, I got addicted to Vitamin Water. I think I've recovered now. But it was a close one.
